Customer Rating: Summary: PMBR Comment: Have found myself using products from Aspen publishers. PMBR on this first look just didn't have the power to keep my attention, as 1L I need to either get to the point quick or have a good, solid overview presented. PMBR tries to get to the point quick, but I get the feeling not all the cylinders are firing. Maybe Kaplan will unscrew them; think they just got spoiled because everybody is so terrified of the MBEs.
On an aside note, I used Kaplan to study for the LSAT and found their program to be straight forward and productive. Not what I am currently getting from PMBR.
Now using Emanuel Outlines.........wanted to go with PMBR, but the gut says no.
The Kaplan PMBR FINALS Series is designed to provide students with all the ammunition needed to succeed on their law school exams.
Â
Unlike other commercial outline series, Kaplan PMBR FINALS: Torts features several integrated sections: substantive course outlines, question summary outlines, practice questions, and fully detailed explanatory answers.
Kaplan PMBR FINALS: Torts contains three types of questions of varying difficulty. The True/False questions merely require the student to know the black letter of the law. The multiple choice questions require knowledge of the black letter law and some legal reasoning skills. The essay questions require deep thought and extensive legal reasoning.
