Customer Rating: Summary: Great cables at a low price Comment: So I just received these cables this week and all I can say is that for the price you just can't beat this deal. While Monster and many other companies sell their "high end" optical cables with all sorts of features, they are still just optical cables. I have these cables connected to both a Blu-Ray player as well as my cable box and the sound quality is great. I bought a few extra of these just to have on hand as I expand my AV system. This is a bargain for this price... Customer Rating: Summary: Item OK; Shipping excessive Comment: While the item appears to be OK, the shipping charge was excessive. I ordered four cables at the same time from the same seller and they arrived in one envelope, yet I was charged shipping for each individual cable for a total of $11.92. Combined shipping for all four together should have been at least half as much. The problem lies in Amazon shipping polices. I am not happy when people achive their profits in this round-about manner. Amazon refused my initial request to reduce the shipping charge. Only after I submitted negative feedback to the seller on this issue did Amazon grant me a $2.98 refund on the shipping. At the same time Amazon granted the refund, they asked me to pull down my feedback. I am not going to do this because I want all potential buyers to know that this problem exists on Amazon.
